I am lucky enough to live near the beautiful Pentland Hills, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Most days I try to find time to walk there, even for a little while, and if the weather is not too wet and windy, I often write a few lines into my notebook. These poems usually come into my head as thoughts, and I just try to capture them as words. That’s why I have recorded them in a different way for this page: as sound files.
So enjoy listening into these moments, stolen from nature and turned into poetry that works best read aloud.
Here’s “A Different Wind Is Blowing”.
And this one is called “The Balance”.
Last one for the moment, “The Alphabet of Birds”.
